From the second you step foot inside The Walled Garden, it will be love at first sight. Capturing centuries of history in a picturesque garden and magnificent marquees, this hidden, intimate setting is the perfect place to celebrate the love you share with your family, friends and more.

Once one of the area’s best-kept secrets, now make it the backdrop for the biggest day of your lives.

A beautiful place to make unforgettable memories

Step beyond the historic walls and lose yourself in the lush lawns, rich hedge displays and fabulous flowers in full bloom. This enchanting garden can accommodate for over 200 attendees, and is surrounded by a gorgeous lake, forest and more for fantastic photo opportunities.

Past the exquisite central fountain and Victorian lampposts are our spacious Marquees. Providing a secluded space for guests to indulge in a delicious meal and their tipples of choice, the night is then lit up by wall and Festoon lighting to create a magical atmosphere.

After dark, the garden looks magical with the walls lit up and the marquee brought to life with string lighting and Edison bulbs.

Become part of The Walled Garden’s wonderful history

The history of The Walled Garden stretches back centuries to William Coys and his unique collection of over 324 plants, many of which had never been grown in the UK before. Today, the garden continues in Coys’ spirit, retaining its beauty and colour.

The Walled Garden was later redesigned in the 1800s by notable landscape gardener Humphry Repton, which is when our remarkable fully-enclosed kitchen garden was created. This history helps make it a brilliant celebration of the past, present and future.
